Decorticated oat is a seed with a high nutritional value, much appreciated by birds and important in the daily diet.

It contains a higher percentage of crude protein with a more balanced essential amino acid composition than other cereals. Also interesting are the contributions of Thiamine, Ac. Pantothenic and Nicotinamide.

For dietary and nutritional reasons, oats have a clear nutritional superiority over other cereals. The shape and consistency make it excellent for feeding weaning nestlings but it should be administered in small doses due to its poor digestibility.

Oat seeds are suitable for canaries, natives, exotics, wavy, parakeets, parrots, mixed with other seeds.
