PROTECTOR Pineta Zootecnici is a liquid which, added to the germination solution, helps to inhibit the proliferation of bacteria and fungi and to reduce the risk of food poisoning in birds fed with treated seeds.

For ornithological breeding, germinated seeds represent an excellent and important food to be given to subjects during the reproductive period. They are of great palatability and the nutritional factors they bring are able to favor the entry into reproduction and encourage the cue of the pullets by the parents. It is essential to remember that germinated seeds also represent a source of disease if not correctly managed. In particular in the preparation phase, during which the seeds are wet and incubated for relatively long times, favorable situations can be created for bacterial and fungal proliferation with possible negative consequences on the health of birds fed with these germinates. Evaluating the need to limit these risks, Laboratori Pineta have formulated and developed a new product to try to contain microbial proliferation during the germination phases.
