Spirulina is a single-cell micro-algae with a light blue color, used both in human and animal feeding with integration and antioxidant functions. It is one of the most complete and balanced food existing in nature, contains a multitude of essential amino acids and is rich in chlorophyll and natural beta-carotene as well as mineral elements (salts and trace elements); it also has additional phytochemicals. For these reasons, one can expect a positive effect on the immune system and on the immune status, which is particularly important for young animals. In addition, the spirulina is used so that the plumage acquires greater luminosity and stimulates breeding.
