Unifeed Canary Maintenance , from the LOR Unibird line , is a special compound feed for canaries of different shapes, sizes, and colors (melaninic, lipochromic). It does not contain substances or products that can cause color changes such as browning or plumage depigmentation.

Unifeed Canary Maintenance is suitable for year-round administration to non-breeding or newly weaned birds and to incubating females. It supports and restores liver function after metabolic stresses such as egg-laying (females) and molting.

Composition: cereals, vegetable proteins, oils and fats, sugars, minerals, probiotics, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, flavorings.

Directions for use: Feed the product as is or add water until the mixture resembles homemade ice cream. The latter option usually increases the palatability of the feed, but any uneaten food should be replaced at least once a day (especially during the summer).

Method for converting to unifeed: 99% of canaries immediately accept the new food, even dry, in place of seeds. Feed conversion is straightforward in this species.

This food is also suitable for coloring red-factor canaries. The amount of colorant to be mixed into the feed depends on the use of the unifeed: if used as a single food, the dosage is 1/3 of the usual doses (we recommend 2 grams per kg of product).
