CARDINAL SPINUS

It is a specific food for the breeding of Carduelis Cucullata or Red Siskin, of Carduelis Jarellii (Lucherino Facciagialla), of Carduelis Xantogaster (Lucherino Panciagialla) and of all the spinus in general. The Red Siskin  is a small and beautiful carduelid much sought after by amateur breeders for its ability to transmit the red lipocromo to canaries, it is possible the coupling between the domestic canary (Serinus Canaria) and the Cardinalino of Venezuela (belonging to different genres of the same family of finches), but only 50% of the males resulting from this crossing will be fruitful, while the females will be sterile, and used exclusively as nurses.
