BLONDE LINSEED FOR BIRDS
Leinsamen Blond Blattner has a slightly nutty flavor and contains about 40% fat (linseed oil). The polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid has a share of about 50%, which is the highest concentration of omega-3 fatty acids of all known vegetable oils. Other important ingredients are mucilage, linamarin, linseed oil, proteins, lecithin; also sterols, vitamins B1, B2, B6 and E as well as nicotinic, folic and pantothenic acid.
Flaxseed should be contained in mixtures up to a maximum of 8-10%. It is mainly used in mixtures of canaries, forest birds and large parakeets.
